We have a huge favor to ask of all of you. Michelle is stressing because she will be out of work for 2 weeks. Because she is having surgery Jan 3rd. She normally donates most of her pay check to the rescue.

Thanks to Fisher Gas for doing their match challenge, we have a new $5,000 Match Challenge thanks to an anonymous donor!!!!! This is so wonderful for us in so many ways. This $5,000 match challenge will count all monetary donations and any items donated to the rescue!

 STARS No Kill Rescue LAST FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR. This will be an On-Line Aution and Raffle. We are looking for volunteers to make and Donate a Gift Basket of any kind or you can donate a item too. We will need them in by Dec 20th the latest. You can start bidding on them when as soon as we post it. If you don't have a basket, we can supply you with one, or you can gather the items together and we can make the basket for you. Need a basket to fill in, please call Lori at 605 381 4606. The On-Line Auction will start as soon as we recieve your Baskets. The Online Auction and Raffle for the Xbox will end Dec 23rd at 12pm at our Thrift Store. We will go live at 12:01pm Dec 23rd to draw the winning ticket. You do not have to be present to win.

Any time we take in cats and kittens, we need all of the following:

• Negative tests for Feline Leukemia and FIV
• Funds to cover Veterinary costs
• IAMS or Purina One kitten/cat food
• KMR kitten formula
• Wet cat food
• NEW toys
• Horse Bedding Pellets (we use these in place of litter as it better keeps down the smell and makes less mess.)
• Fosters

This rescue of 12 cats and kittens will cost us well over $1,000 and then cost $45-85 for each of them to be fixed when of age. We do not receive any vouchers for our cats or Kittens we rescue, we pay out of our own pockets. This adds up very fast. We need your help, please.
